Set goals that ignite and inspire you to achieve them!
Everyone knows that you need to dream big and move towards your dream in small but sure steps. Everyone knows, but not everyone does it.
Yes, someone says they want to earn a million, understands that they need to work for it, and understands that if they choose one of the well-known strategies, they’ll reach their goal in a short time. But they don’t even take the first steps—they leave everything as is.
What does that mean?! It means they don’t want it.
Why do I spend so much time setting goals?! Even if it is just basic learning to play musical instruments. Because at the very beginning of the “path”, if you “want” something that is not truly important to you, then both in the process and as a result you will soon be disappointed.
During your studies, your energy will drain, weakness and laziness will set in, irritability will set in, and sometimes even anger at yourself or your mentor will set in. More often, of course, it’s the mentor).
To prevent this from happening, set goals that are clear to you and that you actually want. Every time you want something, ask yourself the questions below. Each question should be answered with a “Yes” or “No.”
The effect of increasing the answer “Yes” will indicate that you really need it. But if at least one answer is negative, think about whether I really need this.
QUESTIONS FOR A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING OF YOUR GOAL:
- Do you have a strong desire to do this? (Or is it envy of others?)
- Do you believe this is possible for you? (Or do you consider yourself incapable of it?)
- Can you create a plan to achieve your goal, outlining each step? (Or do you not understand what I mean?)
- Will you get pleasure and a sense of self-fulfillment from achieving the ideal result? (Or the achieved goal won’t evoke any feelings)
- Does your current level allow you to take even the first steps toward your goal? (Or do you think you lack even basic skills)
- Do you have an idea of how long it will take you to achieve this? (Or can’t imagine how to predict it)
- Do you know what difficulties and obstacles await you? (Or don’t think about them)
- Do you have solutions to overcome these difficulties? (Or are you hoping everything will go smoothly)
- Do you understand what knowledge you will need to achieve your goal? (Or do you think you already have enough knowledge)
- Do you have a mentor, friend, or supporter who will monitor your development and motivate you when necessary? (Or are you relying only on yourself)
- Do you understand that you need to start immediately? (Or are you looking for the right time, event, or sign)
After working through these questions and creating a plan, determine which action needs to be completed first and within what time frame.
Imagine that you have accomplished this; what feelings will then fill you?! Do you want to experience them in real life?
If “Yes”, then what are we waiting for???
Let’s go show the world that we are talented!
