We perceive the human voice like a melodious musical instrument. When a person starts singing, you can tell from just a few notes that he is pure and flows like water.
But this won’t happen with just one note or a transparent chord. A single note won’t make our body respond to music. Only through a sequence of notes can this state be achieved. Goosebumps come from pure singing, from the singing of a pure voice.
Be sure that if you get goosebumps while singing, you will convey them to your listeners. After all, everything pure has a sound. A floor that’s just been washed resonates, dishes make a pleasant crackling sound after being washed, a new book, unread and fresh, has not only a pleasant printed aroma but also the sound of turning pages.
Each person has an inner ear for music that is stored in our memory subconsciously, passed on to other generations through time. And when something “cuts the ear,” we—even without having unique hearing—hear that the voice of an instrument or vocal contains obstacles, impurities. It does not flow like a radiant and tireless waterfall, it does not flutter like a free bird high above the earth, it is as if imprisoned in shackles.
The attempt to break free from these shackles, to soar, to become a carefree element—this is learning to sing. Not everyone can free themselves from psychological, physiological, and other obstacles, to discover their voice (their natural voice, not a parody), to harness and understand the power given to us by nature. And not everyone wants to.
If you want people to be inspired and admired by your singing, you should learn to sing.
How do I recognize a person with a good voice without listening to their vocals? I’m listening to him. Some people are naturally gifted with this ability. Their voice sounds even in speech, shouting, and excitement. Their voice is like a ringing coin: the purer it is, the louder it resonates.
No matter how you use your voice. Whether you read aloud, sing songs, recite, rap, or engage in public speaking, you are always cultivating the purity of your voice.
May your voice always create pleasant sensations in your body!
