I wrote this short post to give musicians a little encouragement. These are difficult times, but that’s no reason to give up music. In general, if you are passionate about something, then always think about a good combination of circumstances and everything will be fine!
Many industries not connected to the internet are now looking for opportunities to move online. Those organizations that haven’t even thought about creating their own website or public page are starting to look for options. Ordinary office employees are switching to remote work at the first opportunity. Creative professionals have become in high demand remotely.
If you’re still performing in clubs and are still getting paid, consider creating your own full-fledged website, just in case.
Lyricists and composers will become the most sought-after, and therefore they need their own online “avatar.” Not just a social media page, not just tracks posted for everyone to listen to, but a holistic approach to managing all processes online.
Really, you should have thought about this earlier. But even now, many things can be fixed online. The most important thing is to keep up the good work, not let the team “take a break,” stay in touch with the organizers and directors, find new ways to collaborate, and keep working.
Prepare in advance. Good luck, musicians!
