4 Key Components of Music Promotion. Part 3-3.

LET’S CONTINUE…

Let me remind you

Previously, we focused on the second promotion strategy in the Advertising/PR component.

3.3 The third strategy is “reactive.”

It’s based on testing, identifying, and attracting a large number of listeners by entering the market with “crowd” material.

“We only play what the crowd LIKES.”
“To become famous, we must ADJUST to the listeners’ interests.”
“We want to become FAMOUS and POPULAR.”

Is that right?!

Then the third strategy would be optimal for you.

Of course, not everyone can use a reactive strategy; less than 20% can. The fame factor is very high, and at the very beginning, personality may not even be considered. Depending on the target audience, you can expect a lifespan of one year or less.

Chain of consequences.

What if things only get worse?

A huge number of people love what you play and, most importantly, what you sing → Popular hits compel you to create more and more hits, so as soon as they decide you don’t meet their requirements, you can be forgotten → A sharp drop in wages → There’s no longer any desire to continue creating in this area.

A chain of opportunities.

What if it gets even better?

A huge number of people love what you play and, most importantly, what you sing → Because of your own popular hits, people listen to you, and fan clubs quickly form; listeners leapfrog the fan stage and become true fans → A large income → There’s a desire to improve yourself and the project, record albums, and expand to new scales.

Every strategy has its own specific tools.

Each tool has certain tactics for achieving results. Each tactic has steps. To take a step, ask yourself, will it lead me to my result, which will be in line with my strategy?

This component of a musician’s development is fundamental.

CHOOSING A DIRECTION IS VERY IMPORTANT.

and the fourth component…

THE FOURTH COMPONENT!
